CNC roll turning lathe

The CK84 series CNC roll lathe features a box-type bed structure made from high-toughness Meehanite cast iron, using integral one-piece casting technology. This ensures excellent overall rigidity, making the lathe suitable for both heavy-duty rough machining and high-speed precision finishing.

The bed guideways adopt a three-guideway combination structure. The moving guideway of the tool post uses a one-V, one-flat design, while the guideways for the tailstock, steady rest, and auxiliary chuck use the same structure. The middle flat guideway is shared between both systems but offset to avoid interference. This design allows the tool post to move freely along the entire length of the bed without obstruction from the tailstock, steady rest, or sub-spindle. The guideway width is 1450 mm, ensuring high stability and rigidity during the turning of long shaft-type workpieces.

The headstock is designed as an integrated box-type structure, made from high-grade HT300 premium gray cast iron, offering high rigidity. The large-diameter spindle is supported by precision heavy-duty bearings in a two-point configuration, providing stable rotation for both heavy cutting and fine finishing.

The primary sliding guideways for feed motion are coated with TSF soft belts, significantly reducing friction and improving servo responsiveness. This ensures excellent positioning accuracy and repeatability. The cross feed (X-axis) is driven by an AC servo motor mounted at the front of the saddle, which transmits power via a German Alpha reducer and flexible coupling, directly connected to a precision ground C3-class ball screw, enabling stepless rapid traverse and feed motion.
